REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
These Refund & Cancellation Rules shall be applicable to your access for use of the websites, applications, and other online services operated by OiHelp.in (“OiHelp” “our,” “us,” or “we”). The terms of Use (the “Online Services”), constitute a legal agreement between you and OiHelp, wherein you accept to follow the guided rules as laid by OiHelp. If you deny accepting any of the guidelines mentioned below, kindly refrain using our platform and all of its services.
I. Guideline for Customer Cancellation
a. Once an order is placed, the Buyer shall not be entitled to cancel the order, unless the order has been accepted by the Seller. However, subject to Buyer’s previous cancellation history, OiHelp reserves the right to deny any refund to the Buyer pursuant to a cancellation initiated by the Buyer even if the same is within the time frame allowed, followed by suspension of account, as may be necessary in the sole discretion of OiHelp. Legal action may be pursued against any consumer or customer or client in cases where any mischief is caused by such consumer or customer or client placing arbitrary and rampant orders which does not yield any fruit in the course of the business of the Seller, and in such cases the final say shall be solely and exclusively at the discretion of OiHelp.
b. Where an order placed by any consumer or customer or client is cancelled post the acceptance of the same by the Seller, the entire paid amount shall be retained by OiHelp to make good for the damages incurred by the Seller due to such untoward action initiated on the part of the Buyer with a right to either not to refund the Order value in case Buyer’s Order is prepaid or may be recovered from the Buyer’s subsequent Order in case such Order is post-paid to compensate the Merchants and Delivery Personnel.
c. Once an order is placed by the Buyer and subsequently the order has been accepted by the Seller, the Buyer shall be liable to pay for the same. In case of failure to do so, the Order shall be deemed to be cancelled and OiHelp, reserves the right to inquire the same and suspend the account of the Buyer for repeatedly causing such unnecessary distractions in the normal course of the business.
II. Guidelines of Cancellation policy in cases not attributable on the part of the Buyer
OiHelp reserves the right to collect a penalty for the orders limiting to be cancelled by OiHelp for reasons not attributable to OiHelp, including but not limited to:
a. The order shall be cancelled if the Buyer provides a wrong address or the area falls outside the zone of delivery.
b. The order shall be cancelled if and when the Buyer cannot be contacted by phone or email by the concerned delivery personnel or by OiHelp, at the time of delivery based on the order placed by the Buyer.
c. The order shall be cancelled due to lack of information provided by the Buyer such as related information, direction or authorisation at the time of delivery.
d. The order shall be cancelled due to unavailability of all the ordered items by the Buyer at the time of booking.
However, in the unlikely event of an item in an Order being unavailable, OiHelp or the Seller shall inform the Buyer on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the order and inform the Buyer of such unavailability. In such an event buyer will be entitled to cancel the entire order and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount up to 100% of the order value.
In condition of cancellations for the reasons applicable to OiHelp or the Merchant or Delivery Personnel, OiHelp shall not collect any penalty from the buyer.
III. Guideline for Cancellation policy for stores such as for Grocery, Meat Shop, Pet stores, Vegetables and Fruits, Wellness essentials, Gourmet & Organic products, Mobiles, Household electronics & Home appliances, Crockery and Household utilities, small furniture, Hardware product
All orders placed in the platform attributable to the above-mentioned products are non-cancellable and non-refundable, except when requested for under the following conditions:
a. If the order remains undelivered in the given time frame when ordered.
b. When the order has not been picked by the Delivery Personnel.
c. If the Seller does not accept or cancels the order due to reasons not related to buyer, including but not limited to store being closed, non-availability of items, store cannot service online orders at that moment, store is overcrowded etc.
d. If OiHelp cancels the Order due to non-availability of Delivery Personnel, etc
OiHelp reserves the right to look into the cancellation request of the Buyer and proceed further if such cancellation request falls under the conditions mentioned above. If OiHelp is satisfied with the request and fulfils any of the aforesaid conditions, then OiHelp shall process the cancellation request and refund amounts to the Buyer.
IV. Guidelines for Refund
The following terms refund shall be applicable as mentioned below:
a. Buyer may be entitled to a full 100% refund for prepaid orders. OiHelp retains the right to hold on to the penalty payable by the Buyer in Section I(b) from the amount refundable to the Buyer.
b. The Buyer shall be entitled to a refund up to 100% of the Order value, in scenarios when the packaging of the ordered product is either tempered or damaged and the Buyer refuses to accept the Order at the time of delivery for the aforementioned reason.
c. The Buyer shall be entitled to a refund up to 100% of the Order value, if the Delivery Personnel fails to deliver the order due to a cause attributable to either Delivery Personnel or OiHelp, how ever such refunds will be assessed by OiHelp on a case-to-case basis.
OiHelp’s decision on refunds shall be final and binding has to be accepted by the Buyer.
All refund shall be credited directly to the Buyer’s account as may be restricted as per payment option of the Buyer’s choice; the estimated timelines are mentioned below:
For all payment options such as Netbanking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, Amazon Pay, PhonePe, other wallets (such as Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge), etc, LazyPay, Sodexo, Amex Cards,Etc and others accepted modes of payment; Shall be Processed and refunded within 7 business working days, with exceptions of payment settlement holidays.
